For us,
the egg
came first.
Eggcetera was born from the idea that something so simple could be at the center of something remarkable.
Inspired by the breakfast culture of Copenhagen & Berlin and by a genuine love for gastronomy & bringing people together, we set out to create a place in the heart of Cluj-Napoca where breakfast could be enjoyed at any hour of the day.
What started as a small brunch spot quickly became a playground for creativity. From the beginning, we have been dedicated to developing recipes in-house, sourcing exceptional ingredients and constantly exploring new ways to elevate familiar flavors and dishes.
At the heart of it all has always been our favorite ingredient: the egg. Versatile, nourishing and endlessly inspiring, it shaped our menu, our philosophy, and ultimately our name.
Over the years, Eggcetera has grown far beyond its original walls. As our kitchen grew, so did our ambitions, giving us more room to do what we love most: create.
Alongside our brunch kitchen, we have built our own pastry lab, expanded our specialty coffee program and brought together three things we care deeply about: brunch, pastries & exceptional coffee.
